4th Shamrock Shuffle 15k/5k & 1/4 M. kids race (Breakwater Junction Trail, Rehoboth, DE)
COURSE UPDATE...The Breakwater-Junction Trail is very wet at two locations as well as snow still covering about 100 meters at another location. I know that in a 15k race it does not make for a pleasant experience to go through 4 inches of water at the 2 mile mark and still have 7 to go. I am looking at the course everyday and the plan B would be to move the event to the fishing pier of Cape State Park in Lewes and do the double loop 4.6 mile loop in the park. Keep checking back and I will keep giving updates. The other item that will not help the trail is a predicted 3 inches of rain on its way at the end of the week. If we make the change we will back the start to 9:15 to make up for the travel time to Lewes. Thank You for your cooperation as I continue to look out for your clean shoes! Tim Bamforth-Race Director

Follow Rt. One South through Lewes. ½ Mile past Safeway and across from Nike Factory Outlet- enter the Ocean Side Outlets and continue straight to the gravel parking lot and the Breakwater Junction Trail.
