We look forward to having you join us on Saturday for the 2012 5K Run to the Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Delaware. The weather looks great with a projected high of 50 degrees!
Remember the race starts on the Boardwalk (in front of Dolle's) on Saturday, February 4 at 1:00pm. Registration/Check-In takes place under the tent near the bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue. Registration/Check-In will open at 11:00am on race day.
EARLY PACKET PICK-UP AVAILABLE: Make things easier on race day and take advantage of this opportunity. If you would like to pick up race packets for your family and friends the waiver form is attached (NEW THIS YEAR). If you bring in an accurately filled out and signed waiver form for someone else, you will be able to pick up their race packet (bib number, t-shirt,... ). Also, if you are under 18, remember to have your parent/guardian sign the waiver and bring it with you.
Others can still be part of the race and all its festivity as a day-of participant ($25, form is attached). All race participants receive a long-sleeved tee-shirt, post-race refreshments, and the opportunity to win door prizes (shirts are mailed post-event for day-of registrants). Continue the fun all weekend with our Restaurant Chili Contest and Polar Bear Cake-Off on Saturday, and the Plunge itself on Sunday, February 5!
