7-10 Age Group (7-8, 9-10) Run .......................... ½ mile Bike* ........................ 2 miles Swim ....................... 100 yards (4 lengths) 11-14 Age Group (11-12, 13-14) Run ......................... 1 mile Bike* ....................... 3 ½ miles Swim ....................... 150 yards (6 lengths) *In the event of inclement weather, we will not hold the BIKE portion.

For a course map see below to click & print, or copies are available at the YMCA front desk. The event will begin just outside of Grove Park. All runners will run down Henlopen Avenue to a designated point then return to Grove Park. Participants will then get on their bikes: 7-10's will turn around at Deauville Beach, 11-14's will turn around at North Shores entrance then return to the park. All participants will then pack up and go to the YMCA for the swim portion. (In the event of inclement weather, we will only hold the "run" and the "swim" portions)

Description: |
The Youth Triathlon is held on Healthy Kids Day, it is a national YMCA program to promote a healthy living. Games, moon bounce, face painting are all part of the days events. Proceeds: from event go directly to the Strong Kids Campaign which helps fund under privileged children participate in YMCA programs.
