PARKING INFO
WE HEARD BACK FROM THE CITY MANAGER REGARDING PARKING ON SATURDAY MORNING. THE TOWN OF DEWEY PASSED A RULE THIS SPRING LOWERING THE PARKING PERMITS TO START AT 9 AM. YOU BASICALLY HAVE A FEW OPTIONS:
- PARKING ANYWHERE IN TOWN (POPULAR STREETS NEAR START ARE DAGSWORTHY, MCKINLEY, BELLEVUE, READ) AND USING PARK MOBILE FROM 9 AM UNTIL YOU WANT TO LEAVE THE RACE. (Please be mindful of residents and do not block any driveway)
- PARKING AT IVY AND PAYING $4/HR VERY CLOSE TO START
- PARKING IN THE LIONS CLUB LOT ACCESS FROM MCKINLEY ST IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY ENOUGH...THERE ARE LIKE 20 SPOTS AND WILL LIKELY BE FULL BY 6:30AM.
- LOCALS...BIKING IN OR WALKING IN OR BEING DROPPED OFF IS ENCOURAGED
PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT THE SEASHORE STRIDERS AND RACE ORGANIZERS ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THE PARKING RULES FOR THE TOWN OF DEWEY BEACH. THANK YOU AND PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY AND GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME TO GET TO THE START.
Packet Pickup will be at the Dewey Lions Club on Dagsworthy St. on July 31st from 5-7 pm
Please plan on picking up your packet which will make race-day much smoother. Parking passes will be handed out at packet pickup.
