Great Job to all runners and walkers today at the 19th Bill Degnan 5k.  Special shout out to all the volunteers,

sponsors, and Cape H.S. for being the host.  Congratulations to Scholarship Winners Austin MacElrevey & Megan Hart.

A few reminders as a race director:

- Always check your race bib when you receive it and make sure it is really yours...correct name, age, & gender.

- When you have the option of participating in two distances, please complete the distance that you registered for...

ex...if you are a 5k participant, please complete the 5k and 1m walkers please complete the 1m.  This will help us speed up result posting and keep us with acurate results.

- Lastly, I thank all participants who pre-register online and snail mail...keep pre-registering...it helps us out with weekly planning.  For those of you who register race-day...Thank you or your support of the new Chronotrack Dynamic Bib Assignment on the laptops.   We had 8 registration stations on Saturday and today we had 6 stations and each procedure went pretty well.  

A few steps to follow...1. Check-in with our lead greeter and process payment and receive your bib(s).  2. Proceed to t-shirts and pick-up your t-shirt if they are still available (in most cases we are able to get you some t-shirt, but not race-day guarentee).  3. Proceed to Laptops and enter your data with the final step entering your bib #.  Average time spent at the Laptop Station should be between 1:30-2:00.  4. Have a GREAT Race & Thank You for Racing with the Seashore Striders.
