I WOULD JUST LIKE TO THANK TODAY'S PARTICIPANTS WHO TOOK PART IN THE SS 5K AND THE S.S. WOMEN'S DISTANCE 5K AT REHOBOTH BEACH.  AS WE PREPARED FOR THE EVENT, THE STRIDER TEAM WORKED VERY HARD TO MAKE THE EVENT AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE DUE TO THE HEAT INVOLVED IN OUR AREA.  SPECIAL THANKS TO MY TEAM FOR CONSTRUCTING THE WATER TENT, TOM WITH PINE MOUNTAIN SPRINGS FOR FOUR OPPURTUNITIES FOR RUNNERS TO RECEIVE WATER, THE SUSSEX COUNTY EMS FOR A MISTING FAN AT THE FINISH AND FOR BEING ON-SITE, THE REHOBOTH BEACH FIRE AND POLICE FOR THE SAFETY OF THE EVENT, AND LASTLY MY SEASHORE STRIDER TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS WHO WORKED TO PROMOTE AND PRODUCE A SAFE & HEALTHY EVENT.
