1st Hair of the Dog 5k & 10k

Dear Hair of the Dog runners and Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation (QRCF) Supporters:

Thank you for participating in the inaugural Hair of the Dog Run last week. It was an unqualified success!   A good time was had by all – the more than 650 runners, 29 sponsors, hundreds of spectators and legion of volunteers – and the weather could not have been more perfect.  Additionally, I am delighted to preliminarily report that over $16,500 were raised for the QRCF scholarship and grant programs.  I am sure you will agree it was a great time for a great cause.
We hope you enjoyed every aspect of the event, from start to finish!  We were thrilled by the warm response from the community of runners, businesses, and volunteers and plan to make next year’s Hair of the Dog 5k/10k even better.  Save the date: January 1, 2013!
