DESCRIPTION

This unique 5k is a 3.1 mile course that will wind throughout a 200 acre "Field of Beans" (crop rotation) across from the East Coast Garden Center. Proceeds will be donated to Cordrey Charities, Inc. which is working on a young gardener program that  encourages elementary students to get outdoors and engage in healthy and productive activities. Participants of the race are welcome to attend East Coast Garden Center’s fall festival immediately following the race from 10 am - 2 pm. There will be plenty of FREE 16 Mile beer, brats, line dancing, games for all ages, and hay rides to go around.  (Beer is complimentary to those racers 21+).[img_assist|nid=615|title= |desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=100]

Corn Run 5k - participants should be prepared for a unique experience as they run along the course carved through bean fields (NOTE CHANGE: crop rotation in 2014) in Millsboro Delaware.

AWARDS

Presented to the male/female 5K Overall and Master Champions as well as the top three finishers in 8 (10y) age groups from 13 & under to 70 & over.

Tech T-shirts guaranteed to the first 200 participants; refreshments; timing and finish line by Seashore Striders Race Production, Inc. This 5k is a 3.1 mile unique course through a corn and bean field across from the East Coast Garden Center.
